What is the difference between wet powdered butter and dry powdered butter?

Great question ethan801. I checked with the author and the selection for the best wet powdered butter is the one that was the best in it’s wet form as a condiment or spread. So if you wanted buttered toast, then you would want this one.
For the selection of the best dry powdered butter, that is the one that tasted and worked the best in recipes where you would just throw in dry ingredients. According to foodstoragemadeeasy.com, they say to take your powdered butter and throw it in with the dry ingredients of your recipe and then add the additional amount of water that would be used to reconstitute the powdered butter to the wet ingredients of the recipe. You don’t have to mix the powdered butter and water beforehand and then add to the recipe.
