Agree Jon. I feel perpetually on edge. What’s coming next, what am I missing in my preps, what do I need to focus on priority wise etc..? I feel like I’m in a constant state of over/hyper alertness, trying to stay a step ahead. To foresee what’s next, so as to not be surprised, taken unaware and likewise unprepared.

Just a thought, anyone who may be at or near a protest may want to invest in some type of genitalia protection, athletic cup etc., along with any other preps you’re taking.

So pleased to see the NYT Opinion article on masks – FINALLY someone calling this out – hope it goes viral! Protective gloves should be included as well, as we were told they won’t help protect from COVID-19 either.

Civil unrest is starting now it would appear Washington state urges patience as Covid-19 test delays stoke anger: “We have had patients presenting here, angry that they cannot be tested for COVID-19, yelling, cussing, throwing their dirty mask at us and even spitting their secretions on the floor and walls on their way out,”.. https://news.trust.org/item/20200305021522-ny0rr

Shame on them, some of us John Q. Public’s saw the writing on the wall weeks ago. We, without panic, got busy doing what we can to prepare, to the best of our means and abilities. Meanwhile our government, who sat on their laurels, has now become a perfect example of trying to prepare after the genie is out of the bottle.

Thanks of all the updates and work on the COVID-19 outbreak. I’m tired of hearing the government telling people masks won’t keep you safe so don’t buy them because medical staff need them – to protect themselves – while they treat people with COVID-19. So masks only keep medical staff safe then? It’s a stupid way to put out the message. We get it, medical staff need protective equipment to deal with COVID-19, and other medical issues, flu, etc. but don’t say masks won’t help the public and in the same sentence tell us medical staff need all the masks!
