I’ve tried a stock weight on my AR15 for some target shooting, and it definitely made a difference in how steady the rifle felt. I also have a binary trigger ar15 setup, and with the added weight, it was easier to stay on target and manage recoil.When I first added the weight, it was a bit of a game-changer. Using a battery-powered fan to circulate heat from your gas fireplace is also a smart idea, and having backup plans in case natural gas isn’t available is always a good idea.
